HC Deb 13 March 1980 vol 980 c641W
Q31. Mr. Dalyell

asked the Prime Minister, pursuant to her reply in the Official Report on 26 February, what specific action the Government are taking to work hard for a successful outcome to the second Nuclear Proliferation Treaty Review Conference to be held in August; and whether she will place on the agenda the issue of the export of potential nuclear weapon technology to Pakistan and Libya.

The Prime Minister

The Government are engaged in discussions with a number of states about how best to ensure a successful review conference. A preparatory committee on which we are represented will draw up an agenda. This is expected to provide for discussion of all the Treaty's articles, including those concerning nuclear exports.
