HC Deb 13 March 1980 vol 980 cc654-5W
Mr. Bright

asked the Secretary of State for Trade whether Luton airport will remain open when air traffic movements from Stansted exceed 120,000 a year, in the light of the conclusion jointly reached by Luton borough council, the Civil Aviation Authority and the National Air Traffic Control Services, that there would be no technical requirement for it to close down.

Mr. Tebbit
