§ Mr. David Steelasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what additional sums the Government have allocated for the next four years, on top of funds available for the growth of personal social services generally, to enable health and social service boards to develop services for the handicapped.
§ Mr. Alison[pursuant to his reply, 11 March 1980]: Funds allocated to the health and social services boards are not normally identified for specific groups, but I have asked the boards to regard services for the handicapped as a priority when deciding how to allocate their resources. The level of and pattern of expenditure on personal social services over the next four years has yet to be decided.
