§ Sir Frederic Bennettasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether Her Majesty's Government intend to seek agreement in the European conference of Ministers responsible for sport on a common position with regard to the Olympic Games in Moscow, as suggested in resolution 719 of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
§ Mr. MonroI shall certainly be trying to reach such agreement when I attend the meeting of the informal working party of Council of Europe Sports Ministers in Strasbourg on 20–21 March. The Moscow Olympics will be the main item on the agenda.
