§ Q32. Mr. David Priceasked the Prime Minister, in view of the fact that article 3 of the Treaty of Rome lays down that there shall be a common policy in the field of transport, if she will ensure that the responsibilities of the Minister of Transport cover the same transport modes as those of the other Ministers of Transport within the EEC.
§ The Prime MinisterThe responsibilities of member States' Transport Ministers all differ, but this has had no adverse effect on the conduct of Community business. For the United Kingdom the relevant responsibilities have been divided in the light of domestic needs.
