§ Mr. Guy Barnettasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the average cost of new jobs created as a result of investment made by the Council for Small Industries in Rural Areas.
§ Mr. MonroThe average gross capital cost per job of new factories built for the Development Commission is about £7,000. The figure in respect of COSIRA loans is about £3,800.
It is not possible to distinguish between new jobs created and those transferred from existing premises.
