Young people aged 17 or under detained in special hospitals on 5 March 1980. Age Broadmoor Male Female 15 — — 16 — 1 17 — — Age Moss Side Male Female 15 2 — 16 4 — 17 8 — The 14 patients at Moss Side are in a young person's ward; the patient at Broadmoor is in an adult ward.
There are no patients aged 17 or under at Rampton or Park Lane hospitals.
