asked the Secretary of Slate for Energy if he will make a statement about energy policy and British horticulture.

I have received representations on this subject from the National Farmers Union and am looking into the matter in conjunction with my right hon. Friend the Minister for Agriculture.

Mr. John Wells

asked the Secretary of State for Energy what representations he has received from the British horticultural industry about relative energy prices; and if he has any plans to raise this matter in the Council of Ministers of the EEC.

On the first part of the question, I refer my hon. Friend to the answer given to him earlier today. On the second part, I have no present plans to raise this matter.
