§ 26. Mr. Rostasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he is satisfied with progress in energy conservation.
§ Mr. John MooreWe are undoubtedly making progress. Total primary energy consumption in the last quarter of 1979 was marginally lower than a year ago, and consumption of petroleum products fell by 5 per cent. I expect to see even greater progress in future now that we have placed price realism at the centre of our policies.
