§ Mr. St. John-StevasA survey of the exterior of the Palace—including the Clock Tower—is to be undertaken shortly. The cost of cleaning and stone restoration, based on a revaluation of the estimates prepared in 1973, would be approximately £660,000. The future cost cannot be estimated.
