HC Deb 07 March 1980 vol 980 c378W
Mr. Michael McNair-Wilson

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what assessment has been made of the availability of derelict land for building in southern England.

Mr. Fox

No such specific assessment has been made. Figures for the total amount of derelict land in each English county and the proportion justifying reclamation were published by the Department in the survey of derelict and despoiled land in England, 1974.
