HC Deb 06 March 1980 vol 980 cc306-7W
Mr. Alfred Morris

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services, pursuant to the reply of the Minister for Health to the right hon. Member for Manchester, Wythenshawe, on 27 February on the deferment of heart operations, if he will arrange to report to the House on the outcome of the Minister for Health's meeting with the commissioners and the clinicians.

Dr. Vaughan

I shall need to consider, in the light of my right hon. Friend's statement to the House on 3 March—[Vol. 980, c. 29–30]—whether this meeting would be appropriate. Should it take place, I would expect to report on the outcome to the House.
