HC Deb 05 March 1980 vol 980 cc243-4W
Mr. Latham

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will set out in tabular form, at constant prices, the level of financial resources available to the Leicestershire area health authority (teaching) in each of the financial years since its inception, including the current year; and what proportion each year represented to the average level of funding for area health authorities in the country as a whole.

Dr. Vaughan

The information requested is not held centrally. Allocations to area health authorities are a matter for regional health authorities and my hon. Friend may wish to approach Trent regional health authority direct.

Mr. Latham

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will set out in tabular form the number of staff employed by the Leicestershire area health authority (teaching) in each of the years since its inception, subdividing the total into figures for (a) nursing staff actually employed full-time on nursing, (b) hospital doctors and surgeons, (c) administrative staff, (d) ancillaries and (e) clerical staff.

Dr. Vaughan

My hon. Friend may wish to ask Leicestershire area health authority (teaching) for this information as it is not held centrally in the form requested.
