Mr. McCrindle

asked the Secretary of State for Trade what is the landing charge for a Boeing 747 at the following airports as from 1 April: New York (Kennedy), Amsterdam, Paris (Charles de Gaulle), Frankfurt, Tokyo (Narita), and London (Heathrow).

According to the BAA, the average airport authority charge from 1 April 1980 for a Boeing 747 with 300 passengers will be:

New York (Port Authority's Terminal) £1,862
Amsterdam £1,806
Paris (Charles de Gaulle £1,989
Frankfurt £1,980
Tokyo (Narita) £1,958
London (Heathrow) £2,124
(Gatwick) £1,167

These figures exclude air navigation and security charges and United States ticket taxes.
