Mr. John Huntasked the Minister of Transport how many offers so far have been received for the leases of the 38 motorway service areas currently on offer to interested operators; and how many of such offers originate from those with experience of providing catering and other services on the European motorways.
§ Mr. FowlerMy agents, Richard Ellis, have received a large number of inquiries from a wide spectrum of commercial sources and these are being followed up. Negotiations are also in progress with existing service area operators.
