§ Mr. MayhewMy right hon. Friend has received a copy of the open letter to which the hon. Member refers. I understand that the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service issued a report on the union recognition claim in February and that, since then, neither the union nor the employer has approached ACAS.
