§ Mr. Shersbyasked the Secretary of State for Social Services why a pharmicist has not been included in the membership of the primary health care study group set up by the London Health Planning Consortium to look at ways of improving the effectiveness of primary care services in London; and if he will review the membership with a view to appointing a pharmaceutical representative.
§ Dr. VaughanThe primary health care study group was set up by the 153W London Health Planning Consortium, which was also responsible for selecting and appointing members. The consortium asked the study group to concentrate particularly on medical and nursing services from amongst a number of aspects of primary care, and its membership does not, therefore, include representatives of other professions involved.
