HC Deb 24 June 1980 vol 987 c142W
Mr. Pawsey

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will examine the forms in current use by the Inland Revenue, in particular forms DNS 79/80 and 312C, in order to make them less ambiguous and more polite, for example, with the inclusion of the word "please".

Mr. Peter Rees

Inland Revenue forms are kept under constant review with a view to maintaining accuracy, clarity and suitability of wording. I will ask for particular attention to be given to the two forms specified.
