asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many firms in the boot and shoe industry in Northamptonshire are currently working short time; and how many firms in the same industry are receiving aid under the temporary employment scheme.

Under the temporary short time working compensation (TSTWC) scheme 19 clothing and footwear firms in Northamptonshire are currently being supported; information is not available for the clothing and footwear industries separately.
