§ Mr. Greenwayasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will state the present number of student contact hours per lecturer class contact hour in further education colleges.
§ Dr. BoysonIn establishments of further education other than polytechnics and specialised institutions, the average number of student contact hours per lecturer class contact hour was 13.9 in the academic year 1978–79. This represents the average class size.
