552W
§ Mr. AlisonI do not know of any cases where beds are occupied by elderly people incapacitated as a result of the lack of chiropody treatment. The importance of developing the chiropody service for elderly people is fully recognised. As a group they are accorded a high priority for treatment, receiving over 80 per cent. of the chiropody services available.
