§ Mr. Michael Brownasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will consider bringing forward an amendment to section 29 of the Immigration Act 1971 to enable payment to be made to meet a person's expenses in leaving the United Kingdom when that person wishes to do so, irrespective of whether such passage is judged by social workers to be in the person's interest.
