§ Mr. Jim LesterAllocations from the European social fund in 1979 which can be identified as specifically for operations in Scotland amounted to £3,768,361. In addition, substantial allocations from the fund were made for national training and employment measures in respect of which it is not possible readily to identify the exact amount attributable to Scotland.
