§ Mr. Cadburyasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will publish a table showing, for a married man with two children and on average earnings, how many times net earnings in the relevant year was the cost of (a) an 1100cc Ford Escort motor car or equivalent and (b) an average priced three-bedroomed family home, for each year since 1964, and in each of the following countries : the United States of America, Japan, France, Austria, West Germany, East Germany and Czechoslovakia.
