§ Mr. Raison: As I explained in my reply to a question by my hon. Friend on 7 May—[Vol. 984, c. 121–22]—all part-time commissioners of the Commission for Racial Equality, including those recently appointed, receive a fee, currently fixed at £40 a day, for each day's attendance. Travelling and subsistence allowances may also be payable.
