§ Mr. BrittanWe do not believe that it is possible to make a forecast of this kind. Much will depend on the precise programme content of each of the four television channels once the fourth channel has come into operation. I am satisfied that the Government's proposals for programmes in the Welsh language to be transmitted on one of the BBC's channels and on the fourth channel, and for the appointment of an adviser on scheduling, will ensure that viewers in Wales have a good choice of programmes on all four channels.
