§ Mr. McCrindleasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will seek to amend section 226 of the Finance Act 1970 to enable persons leaving employment to pay their accumulated pension contributions from their employer into a self-employed pension fund and to enable such schemes to receive and accept such transfers.
§ Mr. Peter Rees[pursuant to his reply, 6 June 1980]: I am afraid that to do so would introduce unacceptable administrative complexity into the retirement annuity provisions.
