§ 48. Mr. Newensasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will open records of births, marriages and deaths to public inspection, without the payment of a fee, when they are 100 years old.
§ Sir George YoungLegislation would be required for this. The Departments concerned have the matter under consideration and are at present investigating the financial implications involved.
