Mr. Nicholas Winterton

asked the Secretary of State for Trade what were Canadian exports to Great Britain as a percentage of Canadian exports, and imports from Great Britain as a percentage of Canadian imports, in 1979; and what were imports from Canada as a percentage of British imports, and exports to Canada as a percentage of British exports, in the same year.

The statistics from which these percentages can be derived are published in OECDStatistics of Foreign Trade—series A—latest issue June 1980—which is available in the House of Commons Library. The available data relate to the United Kingdom rather than Great Britain.

Mr. Nicholas Winterton

asked the Secretary of State for Trade what was the value of total trade between the United Kingdom and Canada in each year since 1970 up to the latest year for which figures are available.
