HC Deb 28 July 1980 vol 989 c544W
Mr. Pawsey

asked the Minister of Transport if, in preparing his legislation relating to British Railways' subsidiaries, he will seek to safeguard the position of British Railways' pensioners who currently enjoy special concessions on British Railways, at its hotels, and on its ferries.

Mr. Fowler

I would expect such concessions to continue after the introduction of private capital into the Railways Board's subsidiaries.
