I cannot, therefore, supply separate information on the number of places for mentally and physically disabled people.
Bolton careers office was 24. The corresponding figure at 6 July 1979 was 23. The statistics do not distinguish vacancies which are specifically for school leavers. It is estimated from a survey carried out in April-June 1977 that vacancies notified to employment offices are about one-third of all vacancies in the country as a whole.
