HC Deb 22 July 1980 vol 989 cc179-80W
Mr. Parry

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement on the meeting held on 25 June between Members and officers of the Liverpool city council, trades union officials and representatives of other bodies with the regional controller (housing) of his Department concerning the housing investment programme's allocation to Liverpool for 1980–81.

Mr. Stanley

The regional controller made it clear that, in order to make the best use of the available funds, the entire sum for housing investment in 1980–81 had already been allocated. He also stressed that Liverpool had received a greater share of the regional allocation than in previous years.
