§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will reconsider the validity of the Marplan survey on public attitudes to kidney transplantation.
§ Dr. VaughanThe Marplan survey was carried out in November 1978 and the results were published in August 1979. I 647W have examined the findings and methodology of the survey, and in particular the strong opposition it recorded to an "opting-out" system, and can see no reason to doubt the general validity of the conclusions.
