§ Mr. Jim LesterThe Central Policy Review Staff considered such questions in its review of restrictive practices in industry, and I also understand that the Manpower Services Commission investigates such difficulties wherever they arise and takes action to overcome them. Further investigation of what are essentially local problems does not seem necessary, but ways of minimising resistance to skillcentre trainees, from whatever158W quarter, is something we shall have in mind in our examination of the national training system this autumn.
