§ Mr. RidleyOur review of defence sales to Chile is now complete. After careful consideration, we have concluded that the total embargo imposed by the last Government on such sales should now be lifted. Henceforward, applications for export licences for the supply of defence equipment to Chile will be treated in the normal way.
