§ Mr. Jim LesterI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that those who are accepted on courses under the training opportunities scheme—TOPS—who live long distances from the training centre receive in addition to the basic training allowances reimbursement of travel costs if they travel daily or, if they have to leave home for the period of the course, a lodging allowance. I am sending information on the allowances scheme to the hon. Member.
