§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithThe total cost of the Central Council for Agricultural and Horticultural Co-operation was just under £1.2 million in the financial year 1979–80. The estimate for 1980–81 is about £1.5 million. These figures include all administrative costs and expenditure on projects to improve marketing. They do not include the cost of the co-operative grant scheme.
