§ Mr. HayhoeOn 31 March 1978 there were 7,602 TA volunteers in Scotland. This number decreased to 7,358 by 31 March 1979, but by 31 March 1980—the latest figure available—had risen to 7,756. Since 31 July last year there has300W been a net increase in strength of around 600.
