§ 40. Mr. Cookasked the Solicitor-General for Scotland what is his policy regarding prosecutions for homosexual offences in private between consenting adults.
§ The Solicitor-General for ScotlandPolicy is determined by my noble and learned Friend, the Lord Advocate, and the present holder of that office has not changed the policy in any way. Adult persons who, of consent, indulge in homosexual practices in private, will not be prosecuted in Scotland.
