§ Mr. HeseltineIn accordance with Government policy my Department does not normally pay insurance. There are some cases where insurance has to be taken out as a result of a contractual obligation, mainly in a lease of property or to obtain specialist services, for example the inspection of lifts or boilers. These sums are not separately recorded.
