§ Mr. Marlowasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will consider how a system of tax rebates could be devised as an incentive for disabled people to work.
§ Mr. Peter Rees[pursuant to his reply, 2 July 1980, c. 582]: I shall bear my hon. Friend's suggestion in mind, but, as I have explained in previous answers, I do not consider that special tax reliefs would be the right way of providing for the needs of the disabled.
