§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeA television publicity campaign aimed both at schoolchildren and at the mothers of younger children took place in April and May. Next month there will be a poster campaign to reinforce the message of road safety education in schools. Major publicity efforts are likely to be more effective if they precede peak accident periods, which for pre-school children are the summer months and for school children May and October. The next television campaign is therefore timed for September.
