§ Mr. Mark CarlisleMy Department does not prepare figures of expenditure for each local education authority. Analyses of authorities estimates and expenditure are contained in the education Statistics published annually by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy copies of which are available in the Library. The latest available figures of expenditure are for the financial year 1978–79.
