§ Mr. MacfarlaneThe Medical Research Council is currently supporting three research projects on migraine. While none of these is directly concerned with the development of a method for, all of them have indirect relevance to, the relief of the condition. The projects are aimed at elucidating the biochemical and genetic correlates of migraine, and the identification and localisation of lesions of the vestibular system in migraine sufferers who complain of disorientation and dizziness.
