§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what additional guidance he intends to issue to local authorities on the action they should take with regard to the provision of suitable hostel and lodging house accommodation.
§ Mr. Geoffrey FinsbergI shall consider whether additional guidance is necessary in the light of information gained from the research project on the accommodation problems of disadvantaged single people and the visits being made by the Department's housing services advisory unit to those local authorities with experience of multiple occupation, and from any additional material the Department may receive.
