§ Mr. Freudasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list, in respect of the district councils of Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk, the number of people who are (a) negotiating to purchase a council house and (b) who have purchased a house from the public sector.
§ Mr. StanleyInformation about the the number of people negotiating to purchase council houses is not available. The numbers of council houses sold by individual district councils up to the end of 1978 are given in the relevant issues of "Local Housing Statistics" copies of which are available in the Library. The numbers reported as sold by the district councils in the counties referred to during the first nine months of 1979—including dwellings built for sale—were as follows:
