asked the Secretary of State for Wales (1) if he will call in the application for the building of an animal feeding stuff factory in a residential area at Newcastle Elmlyn, Dyfed in view of the noise, smell and dust of such a development;

(2) if he will call in the application for the development of a smokeless fuel plant in the rural area of the upper parts of the Gwendraeth Fawr valley, in the light of local opposition that when fully operational such a plant would create persistant dust and noise environmental affronts.
