HC Deb 20 February 1980 vol 979 c249W
62. Mr. Homewood

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what delays have occurred at regional level regarding the approval of local authority schemes in the current financial year; and if he will give reasons for the delay.

Mr. Fox

The regional offices of the Department endeavour to deal as quickly as may be with the approval of local authority schemes, which fall into dozens of different categories. Perhaps the hon. Member could let me know which particular scheme is causing him concern.
