asked the Secretary of State for Employment (1) whether he will now extend the job release scheme either immediately or by stages to cover all men aged over 60 years;

(2) when he expects to announce the outcome of his annual review of the current job release scheme due to end on 31 March.

Mr. Anderson

asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he is yet in a position to announce whether the job release scheme will be extended beyond 31 March.
