§ Mr. Michael Brownasked the Secretary of State for Trade what representations he has received for the restriction or curtailment of the importation of white 139W goods, such as refrigerators, freezers and washing machines, into the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. ParkinsonI have recently received a number of representations about imports of these goods from other Member States of the European Community. These imports cannot be made subject to quantitative limitation, but if there is evidence of unfair trading practices I shall he glad to look into the matter.
